Our Fundraising Approach

Monday 25th January 2016

Fundraising is about empowering you, not begging …

At Trinity our communications and fundraising approach is transactional: we believe we can offer people a chance to take responsibility for their community.

We encourage a lifestyle of improvement and self-discovery and we expose people to the reality of homelessness. We believe that it takes the whole community to end homelessness – In a society where the accepted rhetoric seems to be about personal rather than collective responsibility this is an idea which challenges media and political convention.

We are not about tokenism or gimmicks – fundraising for us, by taking part in The Big SleepOut or using your passions in another way, will be transformative for you.

We never have and would never dream of selling your contact details – we wouldn’t want that done to us, so we simply will not do it to you.

We respect your choice to opt-in to the journey to end homelessness with us – we want to empower you to express your passion, not fill your inbox and letterbox with things you don’t want.

If you want to know more you can visit our blog, follow us on Twitter or like our Facebook page and you can get in touch and talk to one of our dedicated fundraising team about how we can work together.

In the words of William Morris, “If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

So, we will only share information with you that we believe you want or things that we believe will inspire you. That’s it. You can always unsubscribe or opt-out – what we hope is that you’ll join us on our journey to a fairer society.
