In our shared, supported housing you will be part of a community ending homelessness for good. We believe that everyone has the right to a home and our supported housing provides people with exactly that.

Our houses are for anyone experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Hillingdon and Slough.

We provide shared, supported accommodation for between 6 months – 2 years.

Our houses are fully furnished properties situated in residential areas across Hillingdon and Slough with great access to local amenities, travel links and opportunities within the local community. Each resident has their own bedroom and living areas are shared where we can cook, learn and live together.

Our Coaching team provide coaching and support every week led by our residents and defined by their desired outcome.

People currently or at risk of becoming homeless who are either in need of support or ready to live independently in private accommodation. People prepared to invest in themselves and one another to end homelessness.

Rent: Our supported accommodation includes an enhanced housing management fee to cover the costs of running the service and providing staff to support your community. The rent is reflective of this ‘enhanced’ level of service and greater than the average room in a shared house. Our independent, private studio flats are charged at an affordable rent, in line with the local housing allowance for the London Borough of Hillingdon: https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/article/2407/Local-housing-allowance

Service Charge: Residents are responsible for paying a weekly service charge of £15.30 in our supported houses and independent accommodation.

Rent: You and the taxpayer. In the spirit of community, the taxpayer’s contributions to the welfare state fund a benefit called ‘Housing Benefit’ which you can claim to pay for your rent if you are not working or working part time. If you work full time, you would likely be responsible for the whole of the weekly rent.

Call us on 020 8797 9500 for more information on the rent costs and use this benefits calculator to see what financial support you are entitled to:

Service charge: You. This is a contribution to the overall running costs of the property. In paying this, you guarantee an end to your homelessness and that of the rest of your household.

Your license or tenancy with Trinity Homeless Projects is for a fixed term of 6 months from which point it becomes ‘rolling’. You can stay with us until you are ready to move on into your own, independent accommodation or for as long as a room with us is safe and appropriate for you. We aim for residents to ‘move on’ from living with Trinity within 2 years.

Your housemates. People with whom you will share a home, establish collective values and ‘house rules’, people who will respect you as you respect them and people who will become part of your community with the support of your Trinity Neighbourhood Coach. We provide support and accommodation to people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and dreams. When a room in your home becomes available, you, your housemates and your Coach will talk about who’s suitable and make a joint decision.

UK law; the obligations outlined in your License or Tenancy agreement; and the ‘House Rules’ you create with your housemates and Coach.

Once you can find and afford and take care of it. The timeline between moving into a Trinity house and into your ‘own place’ is up to you and depends on where you would like to live, the links we have and build in the local community (such as with private landlords) and what you can afford to pay. ‘Local Housing Allowance’ dictates how much rent support you can receive if you’re not working and if you are, it’s up to you what portion of your income you wish to spend on rent.

Due to allergies, health and safety regulations, insurance conditions and our lease terms with the properties’ owners, you cannot bring a pet. We can help you find someone to look after them in the meantime if you wish, there are local charities who can be your pets temporary guardian.

Yes, once you move on from living with Trinity into your own place. Our license and tenancies are for single occupancy only in both our supported houses and independent accommodation. Yes, if the items are essential due to a medical condition or disability.

Yes. We can transform houses from commodities into homes by disrupting the private rental market and putting access to safe, secure and sustainable housing back into the lives of the people. We can end homelessness by recognising that a home is a human right, and structuring the housing system around this fact.
